The impact you will create:
- Monitoring and analysis: You will conduct internal SAP security checks and monitor the global SAP system landscape.
- Incident response: You will check SAP security incidents reported via our Splunk SIEM.
- Proactive security: You will participate in exciting SAP security projects to continuously improve our defense mechanisms.
- Routine and audit support: You will provide support in daily operations and in preparing information for internal audit requests.
- Knowledge transfer: You will comprehensively document new security processes and requirements.
Experience and skills you will need:
- Education: A degree in (business) informatics, a comparable IT field, or equivalent IT qualification.
- Technical Passion: A strong passion not only for finding vulnerabilities but also for actively driving their technical remediation.
- Analytical Thinking: The ability to analyze large amounts of monitoring data and logs to reliably identify anomalies.
- Proactivity and Initiative: High motivation to independently and thoroughly familiarize yourself with new SAP security tools and processes.
- Attention to Detail: A precise working style to comprehensively and transparently document security findings and technical countermeasures.
- Cybersecurity Fascination: A deep interest in the interplay between cybersecurity and business-critical SAP systems.
Ideally, you also possess:
- Initial professional experience in the IT field (e.g., through internships or working student positions).
- Basic knowledge of SAP system architecture or administration.
- Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages for automating analyses.
