Responsibilities
Build and maintain backend functionality for web applications using PHP
Develop clean, modular code with strong focus on long-term maintainability
Work closely with frontend developers to integrate APIs and backend services
Design and implement RESTful APIs that support scalable application logic
Investigate and resolve backend issues in multiple environments
Optimize system performance with attention to scalability, security, and resource use
Stay up to date with backend development trends, tools, and best practices
Collaborate with product specialists and cross-functional engineering teams
Requirements
3+ years of experience in backend development with PHP
Strong hands-on experience with MySQL (PostgreSQL is a plus)
Background in writing unit and integration tests
Understanding of microservice-oriented architectures and performance tuning
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team setting
Experience in iGaming is an advantage
Good command of English
Attention to detail, structured communication, and problem-solving mindset
Extra pluses:
Experience with Symfony
Exposure to messaging or async communication
Strong mathematical/statistical foundation
Experience related to data engineering
