About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Java Developer to join the Platform & Payments Department. You’ll lead backend development efforts by building robust system integrations and optimizing distributed systems. This is a high-impact role supporting millions of users globally, working within a fast-paced and collaborative engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and implement complex system integrations
Design scalable, step-by-step integrations with third-party services
Develop high-performance backend systems using Java and Spring Boot
Write and maintain unit and integration tests
Support production releases and collaborate with DevOps teams
Contribute to architecture improvements and performance tuning
Your Background
- 5+ years of experience with Java development
- Expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Data, Spring REST
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and concurrency
- Experience with relational databases (Postgres, MySQL, MSSQL) and Hibernate
- Hands-on with JUnit, Maven or Gradle, and Git
- Knowledge of microservices and backend system design
Nice to Have
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, Math, or related
- Experience with Kafka, Redis, JWT, Spring Cloud
- Knowledge of system performance optimization
- Interest in iGaming or fintech
- Proactive mindset and strong communication skills
