Project Description
The team is engaged in stabilizing and evolving the company’s core platform, which is critical to internal operations and third-party integrations. The platform is built on a Golang-based codebase hosted on AWS. The focus is on reducing technical debt, improving architecture, enhancing testing practices, and establishing scalable, modern infrastructure to support long-term growth. Developers will work closely with the client’s architectural board and technical leads to identify and implement improvements that align with business goals.

What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with the Architect/Team Lead to maintain and evolve the core backend system
- Identify architectural improvements and implement clean, scalable solutions
- Write and maintain high-quality code using Golang and relational databases
- Develop unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability and stability
- Contribute ideas and technical solutions in grooming and planning sessions
- Interact directly with the client, providing updates and discussing technical requirements
- Participate in bi-weekly sprint cycles, working within a Kanban-style workflow
- Take proactive ownership of tasks beyond standard ticket execution
Job Requirements:
- 3+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Golang, relational databases (RDBMS), and cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS).
- Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with the wider team.
- Comfortable taking direction from a technical lead while also contributing new ideas.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests as part of daily development workflow.
- Strong English communication skills, English level from B2.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality solutions.
