What You’ll Do:
- Design and build AI-powered solutions (agents, RAG, smart copilots) that automate business and software-development processes across the company;
- Add AI and agentic capabilities to our products – from intelligent customer and operations workflows to smart decision support;
- Integrate LLM APIs and AI services into our existing architecture (microservices, REST APIs, messaging), focusing on orchestration and reliability;
- Prototype, evaluate and iterate on AI use cases: prompt and tool design, context/RAG strategies, safety/guardrails and quality evaluation;
- Collaborate closely with developers, QA, BA and PMs to turn ideas into production-ready AI features that deliver measurable value;
- Drive AI adoption inside Methodia – help teams get the most out of tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor and ChatGPT, share best practices and influence our internal AI tooling roadmap.
Skills & Experience We Value:
- 2+ years of professional experience as an AI/ML/software engineer building real-world AI applications;
- Solid software engineering fundamentals – python, java or other programming language, algorithms, data structures and databases;
- Hands-on experience building AI-powered applications or agents using LLM APIs (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic or similar) – prompt design, tool calling, function calling or workflow orchestration;
- Practical experience with RAG or semantic search (embeddings, vector stores, retrieval strategies) and integrating them into backend services;
- Hands-on experience using AI development tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, ChatGPT, etc.) to speed up coding, refactoring and testing;
- Experience with microservice solutions, REST APIs and messaging protocols; understanding of security, privacy and safe use of AI in production;
- Proactive, product-oriented mindset – you look for processes to automate, propose AI-driven improvements and care drive business impact;
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; comfortable experimenting, measuring and iterating;
- Technical degree (math, computer science, physics, engineering) and good command of English;
- Bonus: knowledge and experience with ERP, Utilities or BI solutions.
