Our client is the second largest bank in Germany with over 14,000 branches in over 50 countries and an R&D center in Bulgaria. On their behalf, we are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join their team in Sofia.
Responsibilities:
• Development, testing, and maintenance of Python applications;
• Taking an active part in design and architectural analyses and decisions;
• Mentoring young talents;
• Troubleshooting and code debugging;
• Developing and maintaining code and application documentation;
• Participating in code reviews and contributing to best practices for the team;
• Optimizing existing databases reprogrammed to increase functionality;
• Deploying data security and protection solutions.
Requirements:
• Great programming skills in Python, experience with popular Python frameworks;
• Good understanding of UNIX fundamentals, standard command knowledge, and scripting languages;
• Familiarity with system administration tools and processes;
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as TeamCity, Bitbucket, Git;
• Understanding of Agile development methodologies;
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken;
• University degree in IT or a relevant field.
