Ciklum is looking for a C++ Software Engineer to join our team full-time in Bulgaria.

About the role:
We are looking for a C++ Software Engineer to design and develop applications and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C++ code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, security, and responsiveness of the applications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to these problems
- Quality ownership – maintain code quality, organization, and automation
- Can drill down into legacy code and find your way back alive
Requirements:
- Proficient in C++/ Linux, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
- Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
- Skill for writing reusable C++ libraries
- Experience with both standalone and embedded open-source relational databases
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git
- Familiarity with CI/CD workflows
- Team player, autodidact, excellent communication skills
Desirable:
- Work experience in a storage/networking company
- Experience with Python
- Knowledge of FUSE, OpenSSL
