What you’ll do
We are seeking a talented and experienced Team Architect to join our Insights & AI Team. As a Team Architect, you will be responsible for the overall orchestration of our integration data strategy as well as designing, developing, and implementing solutions that enable our clients to extract valuable insights from their data. Our team is not limited to provide insights, we leverage AI to help our development community to enhance their DevOps processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, enterprise and hyperspace architects, data scientists, engineers, and business analysts, to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions.
Expectations & Tasks:
- Design and implement Microservice Architecture on BTP Cloud Foundry and Kubernetes
- Data integration: Developing strategies and solutions for integrating data from various sources
- Create and document architectures, designs, and decisions and align Architecture related documents in architectural circles
- Design and develop architectures and pipelines that are scalable, robust, and efficient and support our GenAI approach by integration LLMs into agentic workflows
- Ensure (AI) solutions comply with relevant regulations, guidelines, and SAP’s standard
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders, enabling better collaboration and understanding even within the scrum teams
- Operate in a value-driven, agile and customer-focused manner
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Team Architect or similar role, with a focus on analytics, AI and data-driven solutions
- Strong understanding in Cloud Development Processes, related tools and principles and as well datasets generated throughout the development process
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions)
- Strong understanding of data architecture principles, data collection, data modelling, and database design
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, TypeScript…
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- A positive, open-minded, and collaborative personality with strong self-management skills

The Intelligent Insights team develop next generation insights and AI solutions. You contribute to how we as Hyperspace bring insights and AI to engineering roles at SAP. The team is dedicated to building robust, scalable solutions and frameworks as part of our platform and IT frameworks that empower developers across the organization. We focus on enhancing the developer’s experience by delivering solutions that streamline workflows, improve productivity, and support modern engineering practices.
