We are looking for:
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive approach and can-do attitude.
- Willingness to learn the business behind the code.
- Experience creating web services with Python 3.11+, Django 5.0, PostgreSQL, Redis, RabbitMQ.
- Experience testing software with pytest + any mocking library.
- Basic understanding of network automation frameworks – Netmiko, Textfsm, Jinja2, Pytos, netconf.
- Basic understanding of bash scripting, Podman, Ansible, GitLab CI/CD.
- Good understanding of DevOps and Agile methodologies.
- Basic written and spoken German (A2).
It would be an advantage if you understand (and yes, you will get to use some or all the below):
- The energy or financial domain, ideally intraday energy markets.
- C4 modelling.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, ideally Microsoft Azure or AWS.
- Less orthodox communication protocols – WebSocket, gRPC.
- Monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Logstash, OpenSearch.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Analysis, design, development, testing, configuration, deployment, and maintenance of automation solutions for critical networking infrastructure (firewalls, web proxies, app gateways, etc.)
- Communicating with clients and users, clarification of requirements.
