Our international IT Hub in Sofia, Bulgaria, is growing, and we are looking for a Manual QA Specialist. You’ll be part of an international team, working in a vibrant environment that encourages the exchange of knowledge and ideas both onsite and offsite. you will be responsible for testing both our mobile applications and web platform.
You will be responsible for testing both our mobile applications and web platform. You will work closely with our developers, product owners, and other testers to identify, document, and verify issues. A basic understanding of German is important, as some of the app content, documentation, and communication will be in German.
Your Responsibilities:
- Plan, execute, and document manual test cases for mobile (iOS/Android) and web applications.
- Conduct functional, regression, usability, and compatibility testing.
- Identify, log, and track defects using our issue-tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers to ensure quick resolution of bugs.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure quality before release.
- Provide feedback to improve user experience and product quality.
- Test and validate German-language applications to ensure correct functionality and presentation.
Your Requirements :
- Proven experience in both mobile app testing and web application testing.
- Familiarity with QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases and reports.
- Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, or similar).
- Understanding of cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing.
- Ability to test German-language applications (good reading comprehension in German required).
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in an international, cross-functional team.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
- Familiarity with API testing (e.g., Postman).
- ISTQB certification or equivalent.
