As part of this strategy, Commerzbank continues the expansion of its Digital Technology Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. We need motivated people who will join us on this journey and we are looking for a Senior Cloud Solution Architect in our FlexHub team.
The Cluster FlexHub supports all clusters within Delivery Organization of Commerzbank with skilled personel, teams and IT services for strategic initiatives bringing innovation to products. We work in the Cluster in an agile structure, in which the teams work independently and flexibly on their tasks. Each team assumes responsibility for the product in the application and context environment from start to finish, from business analysis to software development to operation. The teams use agile working methods for their organization to deliver products to customers faster and more efficiently.
Your tasks:
- Leading the design, build and operational aspects of cloud applications, DevSecOps and working on implementing cloud native solutions;
- Developing cloud adoption strategies aligned with organizational goals;
- Designing scalable and secure cloud architecture;
- Managing cloud migrations with minimal disruption to operations;
- Creating and enhancing the architectural concepts of new reusable services based on complex business requirements;
- Designing suitable solutions for integration of backend systems into the Commerzbank IT landscape to realize the functionality of your team’s applications with performance, scalability, fault tolerance and maintainability in mind;
- Ensuring that architectural solutions comply with internal regulatory requirements and governance policies;
- Ensuring that architectural solutions implement security best practices and Zero Trust principles;
- Supporting your team with technology selection, roadmap preparation and release planning.
Your profile:
- High knowledge of software architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven, layered, etc.);
- Deep understanding of cloud technologies (Azure, GCP, OpenShift) and CI/CD;
- Strong knowledge of Java, Java Frameworks, Spring;
- High knowledge of object-oriented and domain-driven design/architecture;
- Previous experience with RESTful Web Services, security concepts, Relational and NoSQL databases and messaging services (Kafka, Google Pub/Sub);
- Fluency in English – both written and spoken;
- University degree in IT or relevant.
