Please, note that this is a maternity cover position with an approximate duration of 1 – 1,5 years.
In this role, you will:
- Setting a vision, creating and communicating the product strategy to deliver business results
- Analyze trends and identify market opportunities
- Follow closely the technology trends and act on them accordingly
- Translate the needs of the market and customers into product initiatives
- Define product OKRs, revenue and growth projections. Collaborate with multiple teams within Progress towards their execution and achievement
- Building product roadmaps and collaborating with engineering and UX teams on their execution
- Collaboration with the program manager, engineering & UX leads on planning and execution of cross-product release plans
- Collaboration with technical support leads to implement various initiatives related to customer satisfaction
- Collaborate with the marketing team on the creation and execution of GTM plan, persona definition, product acquisition funnel, sales enablement and releases
- Collaborate and assist the sales team with opportunities, new deals, and customer relationship management
- Create competitors’ assessment and market positioning
- Explore and validate ideas for innovation and differentiation
- Present the product in the best possible way at conferences, customer and partner meetups
Your background:
- Software Product Management experience – created and maintained a wide variety of deliverables for your assigned products, including product opportunity assessments, product vision, strategy and short/long-term roadmaps and release plans, marketplace/competitors’ analysis/overview documents and win-loss analyses
- Knowledge of the software applications development lifecycle and different frameworks for delivering value (Agile, Kanban, Scrum, Waterfall)
- Previous hand-on experience with JS web technologies – React, Angular, Vue (either as a developer or consultant)
- Good understanding of the web developer persona
- Good understanding of the JS Web market and technologies
- Ability to build strong working relationships with various functional roles such as marketing, engineering, customer support, sales, UX, demand generation and legal
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers, technology partners and the developer community
- A keen eye for good user interfaces and product usability
- Ability to seek out multiple opinions, yet make decisions and influence positive outcomes
- Fluent English, excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A good communicator, storyteller and engaging presenter
- Managing multiple products in different stages of their lifecycle is a plus
- Ability to travel for conferences and customer visits when needed
