Our client, a global leader in the alternative energy sector, is currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Cash Management Expert to join their Treasury team. In this role, you’ll be key in managing payments, intercompany loans, and cash flow reporting. Cash Management Expert for Treasury team:
Key Responsibilities:
Payment Administration:
– Manage and verify payment requests;
– Enter payment orders in online banking, including internal transfers, FX deals, and loan drawdowns/repayments;
– Generate payment proposals in the ERP system and ensure proper posting of transactions;
– Monitor and ensure timely payments to suppliers and other company partners;
– Communicate with suppliers regarding due dates, overdue amounts and document reissuance;
Accounting & Treasury Operations:
– Perform daily booking of bank statements;
– Work with primary accounting documents;
– Administration of intercompany loans and external credit facilities;
– Calculate and post interest expenses for internal and external loans;
– Reconcile bank and loan accounts;
– Support the Treasury Manager and Finance Director in managing available cash resources;
Reporting & Forecasting:
– Prepare daily cash position and liquidity reports;
– Report incoming and outgoing payment transactions on a daily basis;
– Assist in preparing regular cash flow forecasts;
– Collaborate with Project Managers and department heads to estimate future cash needs;
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field;
– 2+ years of relevant experience in accounting or finance;
– Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial practices;
– Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage;
– Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks;
– Strong written and verbal communication skills in English;
– Proactive attitude, strong analytical skills and a collaborative mindset;
