Main scope:
The SDS System Integrator will ensure the quality of service delivered is compliant with the level of service defined and required (agreed SLAs).
The main scope is keeping a good level of service provided by monitoring infrastructure and application components as well as the design of the Internal Monitoring system.
Working closely with:
• Part of IT Global IT Operations.
• Infrastructure, Application teams all other IT areas and external partners.
• Global Monitoring Service line design and expansion & integration.
• Digitalization & Cloud projects.
Other main scope is server provisioning, middleware installation and collaboration with other infrastructure teams to deploy new application infrastructure. To support activities of company critical Data Center environment.
Main responsibilities:
• Support of IT Core Infrastructure in Data Centers, Regions and Cloud.
• Contribute to application & infrastructure projects, as system integrator, assisting on the technical architecture design.
• Coordinate preparation and deployment of technical or application environments.
• Facilitate/Deliver infrastructures or applications deployments.
• Delivery of scripts and jobs to automate.
• Designs, installs, configures, tests, manages, monitors, supports, and troubleshoots all server, storage & backup components of the Global Data Centers and Cloud Services.
• Responsible for operational availability of all delivered environments.
• Ensure that all main components in the environment are monitored and if not make sure that the proper monitoring will be in place
• Conduct investigations on system performance, make proposals for improvements and implement them when appropriate.
• Ensures that appropriate software or specialist monitoring tools are used to maintain awareness and control of the hardware and software.
• Schedule and supervise all maintenance and installation work, including major configuration changes and upgrades.
• Coordinate with all groups involved Patch Management activities
• Facilitate and implement automation as possible
• Proactively drive opportunity for standardization, simplification and improvement in the environment.
• Provide the proper reports/visibility around all backups executed on the environment.
• Coordinate all backups, being able to apply the process and give the proper status for all company assets.
Main requirements:
• Minimum 3- 4 years’ experience and knowledge in Monitoring system solutions (i.e., SolarWinds, Grafana, Prometheus)
• Experience in API integrations and/or Azure Logic Apps
• 3-4+ years’ experience in Monitoring & Integration in Datacenter & Cloud applications and / or infrastructure integration Experience on Infrastructure Maintenance Support in a very diverse IT landscape
• Proven experience in production environments / critical operations
• Experience and knowledge in any of the Monitoring system solutions (SolarWinds, Grafana, Prometheus, Azure Monitoring, Dynatrace, etc.) are mandatory.
• Experience in API integrations and/or Automation tools such as Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate, etc. are mandatory.
• API integrations and/or Azure Logic Apps are mandatory.
• Fluent English both written and spoken mandatory
Nice to have:
• Experience in Windows Server System Administration.
• Multi-technology tooling Virtualization, Networking, Database, Middleware, Containerization, Cloud.
• Know how to perform initial setup and troubleshooting operations.
• Understand how to monitor the state of a configuration item.
• Familiarity with DevOps and ITIL processes
• ITSM experience – (ServiceNow)
