What is your new role:
- Finding the best solutions to sustain, upgrade and upscale our interactive web platform, used by thousands of b2b accounts and millions of end users;
- Writing well designed, testable, efficient code that’s easy to understand and well tested;
- Troubleshooting problems and diagnosing the issues to help understand what went wrong;
- Collaborating closely with product and QA teams to implement responsive, user-friendly interfaces across the Alula Connect web app;
- Building and maintaining UI features for retrieving, displaying, and patching device and user data;
- Working on a variety of projects with minimum supervision, performing effectively from sprint planning to DevOps.
What it takes:
- a Bachelor’s Degree in Informatics, Computer Science or a related field;
- 3+ years of hands-on front-end development experience with Angular (React, and Bootstrap can be a nice to have addition);
- proficiency with Node.js;
- experience or with Ruby and Ruby on Rails or willingness to learn it;
- proficiency interfacing with HTTP endpoints (REST APIs, RPC APIs) and WebSockets from a web application;
- understanding of relational databases and query development in PostgreSQL, MariaDB, or similar database technology;
- proficient in version control using Git, including Git Flow or similar branching strategies;
- familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, particularly using CircleCI and GitHub Actions;
- Heroku, Sidekiq, Jest, Flipper, Lokalise are a nice addition, but not a must;
- fluent English as you will be a part of a cross-location team.
