Duties and responsibilities
- Define and maintain the frontend technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with product and company goals
- Design and implement scalable, performant, and maintainable user interfaces using React.js (web) and React Native (mobile)
- Establish and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and best practices across web and mobile teams
- Ensure frontend applications meet high standards for performance, security, accessibility, and reliability
- Drive adoption of automated testing and monitoring tools to maintain quality and stability
- Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimizations
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development (at least 2+ years in a similar role for the senior level )
- Expert-level proficiency in React.js, React Native, TypeScript, and modern frontend tooling (Webpack, Babel, Vite, etc.)
- Strong understanding of state management (Redux, Recoil, Zustand, or similar) and component-driven architectures
- Familiarity with CI/CD, API integration, and mobile deployment processes
- Experience with UI performance tuning, cross-platform design, and responsive development, as well as implementing and integrating Storybook
- Experience with the key technologies that we use across our platforms of Next.js and/or Expo, Material UI component library, Redux Toolkit
- Experience writing unit tests, and e2e test with libraries like Jest, React testing library, Playwright and Detox
- Proven ability to mentor engineers, guide architecture decisions, and influence technical direction
