The Role
We are looking for an experienced Risk Manager to establish and lead risk management processes across online gaming products. The role combines analytical expertise with strategic thinking, focusing on detecting, preventing, and mitigating risks related to player activity, fraud, and gameplay integrity.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that potential threats are identified early and that risk controls are embedded into every stage of product development and operation.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage comprehensive risk management processes for monitoring player and gaming activity.
Build and maintain risk and player behavior reports to detect suspicious or irregular patterns.
Analyze large datasets to identify anomalies, potential abuse, or fraudulent actions.
Partner with Product, Game Design, and Operations teams to address mathematical or balance-related risks in new games.
Define and monitor risk thresholds, KPIs, and escalation protocols.
Act as the subject-matter expert on all risk-related topics and decisions.
Design and implement tools, dashboards, and automation for efficient reporting and monitoring.
Create and maintain documentation, policies, and procedures related to risk management.
What You Bring
Proven background in risk management, fraud detection, or data analysis—preferably within the iGaming, Casino, or Sports Betting industry.
Strong analytical and statistical skills with experience in interpreting large, complex datasets.
Familiarity with player behavior patterns, bonus abuse, and fraud detection techniques.
Experience with SQL and BI/reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
Solid understanding of game mathematics, RTP models, and data-driven decision making.
Ability to design and document scalable processes from scratch.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.
