Responsibilities
As a Product Manager at Modeshift, you will be part of a multidisciplinary product team collaborating with engineering, delivery, and customer support. You will:
- Partner with city transit agencies and operators to understand operational goals, challenges, and priorities.
- Translate user needs and business objectives into clear product requirements and measurable success criteria.
- Collaborate with product designers, engineers, and stakeholders to guide implementation from concept to launch.
- Manage discovery, prioritization, and release readiness.
- Validate outcomes after launch and ensure customer expectations are met.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in product management, technical program management, or complex system ownership (B2B preferred).
- Strong systems thinking – ability to connect business, technology, and user impact into cohesive product decisions.
- Solid understanding of product discovery, prioritisation, and SaaS product development.
- Technical fluency with business systems, APIs/integrations, and enterprise IT platforms.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and BI/reporting/analytics tools.
- Experience with modern AI technologies (e.g., LLMs, agents) is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to work with product design teams.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication; ability to convey complex information clearly to varied stakeholders.
- Fluency in English.
- A technical background in software development, QA/testing, or technical support is a plus
