Our client, a worldwide leader in agribusiness and food processing, is looking for a highly motivated person to be a part of the Accounting & Controlling Team, in the role of:
JUNIOR ACCOUNTANT
Key Responsibilities:
– Check trade-related invoices (format, content, signatures) and ensure correct booking before payment;
– Review and book SGA invoices, follow procurement flow, and support reporting;
– Record fixed asset additions/disposals and update the FA Register;
– Monitor and reconcile AP/AR balances, report daily, and track unreconciled items;
– Prepare payment packages, request approvals, and manage deadlines and cash-flow updates;
– Book bank statements accurately and on time;
– Prepare non-trade accruals at month-end.
Qualifications:
– Fluent in English, spoken and written;
– University degree in Accounting/Financial area;
– Experience in accounting, 1-2 years is considered a strong advantage;
– Very good MS Office knowledge;
– Experience with ERP/SAP;
– Good communication and analytical skills.
