Within Strategy & Operations, our COO team “SAP Globalization Operations” is the trusted advisor for this unit. We are seeking an experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as a Technical Project Consultant. This role requires an understanding of SAP Localization, as well as strong problem-solving thinking and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in enhancing the Jira requirements framework to reflect evolving business needs with regard to ongoing Localization topics.
- Independently evaluating feasible technical implementations of new projects, processes, functionalities, and fields in SAPJira, based on specifications provided by business process owners.
- Providing technical consultation and executing the implementations of approved solutions in SAPJira to ensure effective delivery.
- Support in managing Jira Requests raised by Development units while setting priorities.
- Aligning Localization Requirement Project configuration changes with central System
- Administration Team to get test configurations implemented in a timely manner.
- Assuming the responsibilities of the Jira Unit Administrator during absences to ensure seamless operations.
- Generating transparency and supporting business decisions with system-based data, for example, with the aim of ensuring the fast delivery of legal changes, while driving the adoption of Delivery Compliance.
- Leveraging technical expertise by driving activities on setting up dashboards and analyzing requirements for emerging technologies such as Business Data Cloud and AI-technologies.
- Supporting the Leadership team in ad-hoc tasks and requests
Role Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in working in international software companies.
- 2+ years of experience in business operation functions.
- Work experience in global and virtual teams.
- Project and/or product management experience is a plus.
- Proven track record in senior management support and C Level executive communication.
- Professional with an academic education BA or higher in Computer Science, Science or Business.
- MBA or similar degree.
- Outcome/result-oriented, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership
- Ability to deliver quality work under time constraints.
- Strong can-do attitude and growth mindset
- Excellent organization skills
- Fluent in English
- German Language skills are a plus.
