As part of this strategy, Commerzbank continues the expansion of its Digital Technology Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. We need motivated people who will join us on this journey and we are looking for a DevOps Engineer (End User Devices) in our Digital Workplace team.
Within the cluster Digital Workplace, we provide a global end-to-end operation of workplace services (hardware and software at the workplace, CapCom, all phones, collaboration tools, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, etc.) and customer-oriented continuous innovation. This includes vendor/supplier/outsourcing management as well as strategic development of workplace services, product, and hardware management up to various service offerings regarding end-user support or digitalization activities.
Your tasks:
- End user device management (virtual and physical) for the services in scope (not limited to):
- Client Operations: contributing to client management, operating system deployment, software distribution, security compliance and support.
- Desktop Integration: Ensure seamless and secure integration of desktop services with other components in the DevOps ecosystem.
- HW certification: obtaining relevant hardware certifications to enhance expertise in managing Windows devices.
- Client Virtualization: maintaining intermediate-level knowledge of Citrix technologies for virtual desktop and application delivery.
- Supporting, managing, and maintaining the configuration and installation of the endpoint devices (including HW replacements).
- Desktop Support for all internally managed desktop devices (physical and virtual).
- Application Support for all Win Browsers (Microsoft Internet Explorer / Edge and Google Chrome) and Core Applications (Office 365, Adobe Products).
Your profile:
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer in the area of MS Windows concepts, and administration.
- Experience and knowledge of Software Management Suites esp. Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Intune.
- Experience with Windows OS and applications’ deployments with MECM. Knowledge of Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT), Autopilot, Office365, PowerShell etc.
- Understanding and knowledge on Microsoft Group Policy Management and GPA Tool (Group Policy Administrator tool).
- Experience with virtualization products – Citrix Provisioning Services (PVS).
- Excellent customer-focused communication skills, both written and oral, as well as strong negotiation skills.
