Proxiad SEE is an IT Consulting and Software Development company, part of Proxiad Group France, with headquarters in Paris, over 25 years of industry experience, and 1300 + specialists. The Southeast Europe (SEE) branch employs 250+ professionals, operates in Bulgaria and North Macedonia, and has provided services in various sectors (Healthcare, Fintech, Banking, Insurance, E-commerce and Retail, Procurement, etc.) for over 20 years.

We are currently seeking a German-speaking Java Developer to join our dedicated team supporting our partner. Our partner is a leading company in the German direct banking market, offering online securities for modern investors, alongside a full spectrum of services in private customer solutions, brokerage, banking, and advisory. With operations in both B2C and B2B segments, the company serves over 3 million customers with its products and services.
The teams primary responsibility is migrating daily automation jobs written in C to a modern Java framework, while preserving the functionality of the original system without compromising performance.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse legacy C functionality and define acceptance criteria for its migration
- Design, develop and integrate solutions in an internal Java framework, conforming to defined acceptance criteria
- Prepare test data and write unit/integration tests to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Participate in architecture discussions and code reviews
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to meet project goals
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Java development
- Experience with Java, Spring, Hibernate, and JUnit
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Basic knowledge of C/C++
- Experience with Git
- Familiarity with Linux
- German (B2 level)
- English (B2 level)
Advantages:
