About the Role
On behalf of our client – an innovative company preparing to integrate advanced AI agents we’re looking for a talented and innovative Gen AI Engineer.
In this role, you’ll work at the intersection of data, information retrieval, and generative AI — ensuring that the company’s knowledge is always accessible, accurate, and ready to power intelligent applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines from the ground up.
- Develop strategies for effective document chunking, retrieval, and context injection.
- Integrate large language models (LLMs) with custom internal data sources.
- Build and maintain scalable vector search infrastructure.
- Optimize retrieval performance for speed, relevance, and accuracy.
- Collaborate with other internal teams.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or related field.
- Experience as an AI/ML Engineer, or related role.
- Experience with RAG frameworks.
- Practical experience working with LLMs (OpenAI GPT, Claude, or open-source models).
- Familiarity with vector databases and embedding models.
- Understanding of semantic search and information retrieval concepts.
- Solid programming skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an eye for clean, efficient architecture.
