The Role
At Economedia, data is not just a byproduct; it is at the heart of our business model.
We are looking for a Data Analyst to join our dedicated data team. In this pivotal role, you will help us turn raw data into actionable insights that drive editorial strategy, audience growth, and product development. You will be working with massive datasets generated by millions of users, helping to shape the future of independent media in Bulgaria.
Key Responsibilities:
- Web Analytics: act as the go-to expert for Google Analytics 4 (GA4), monitoring traffic patterns, user behavior, and acquisition channels.
- Reporting & Visualization: transform complex datasets into clear, automated dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau and Looker Studio.
- Data Management: utilize Excel and Google Spreadsheets at an advanced level and work with cloud-based warehousing tools like BigQuery.
- Social Intelligence: use tools & integrations to track and report on social media performance to help our social teams optimize engagement.
- Survey Management: participate in designing, organizing, and conducting online surveys using tools like SurveyMonkey to gather actionable audience insights.
What We Are Looking For
To succeed in this role, you must nust possess a mix of analytical mindset and technical expertise.
Essential Requirements:
- Expert/Advanced knowledge of Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, MS Excel, Google Spreadsheets (including advanced use of formulas and data manipulation), Google Search Console.
- Proven experience in Social Media data reporting (Facebook, Linkedin, Instagram, TikTok etc.).
- Working knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) and visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, Databox).
- Attention to Detail: maintain a high level of accuracy and precision when working with data.
- Bulgarian as a native language.
Advantages (great to have, but not mandatory):
- Experience with Big Data environments.
- Experience with SQL for querying databases.
- Knowledge of scripting/programming languages for data processing and analysis (such as Python).
- Database Logic: understanding of relational databases to organize and query data structures effectively will be considereda plus.
