As part of this strategy, Commerzbank continues the expansion of its Digital Technology Center in Sofia, Bulgaria. We need motivated people who will join us on this journey and we are looking for an Automic Automation (UC4) Operations and Administration Engineer in our Middleware & Environments team.
In the Middleware & Environments cluster, we provide middleware and central mainframe components as integral components of our banking applications. In addition, our cross-platform development and testing environments and tools support the other clusters in their application lifecycle. Commerzbank AG uses the product AUTOMIC Automation (UC4) as a standard for company-wide job automation / scheduling in the decentralized client/server environment. AUTOMIC (UC4) controls IT processes and complex routines of approximately 300 banking applications across all divisions and infrastructure platforms.
Your tasks:
- Supporting production operations and ensuring the operational stability of UC4;
- Being responsible for administration and maintenance of existing automation environments (UC4) on Oracle and Linux;
- Contributing to complex problem and error analyzes and their elimination;
- Processing of customer inquiries and performance of customer support (system availability, changes, etc.);
- Supporting consulting of customer projects for jobs and their implementation in automation (UC4) solutions;
- Proactively and efficiently performing incident and problem management within ITIL-oriented processes.
Your profile:
- Previous experience in the administration of heterogeneous client/server environments based on Linux/Unix (mid/senior level) and Oracle DB;
- Good knowledge of Linux/Unix shell scripting, Oracle SQL, Tomcat application server, CI/CD and cloud solutions;
- Strong customer and service orientation as well as team competency;
- Very good structural, analytical and solution-oriented thinking as well as conceptual skills;
- Experience in the administration and scripting of AUTOMIC Automation (UC4) is a plus;
- Experience with Agile methodology;
- Fluency in English – both written and spoken;
- University degree in IT or relevant.
