Our current client is an US IT services company with business entity in Bulgaria. On their behalf, we are currently looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer on a fully remote model of work. Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain automated test suites (4800+ tests in scope).
• Write and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Build and extend automation frameworks using C#, Selenium, and NUnit.
• Support in refactoring and optimizing test suites for reliability and scalability.
• Investigate and troubleshoot test failures with guidance, providing clear reporting of results.
• Summarize findings, contribute to root cause analysis, and support solutions.
• Take ownership of assigned tasks, schedule discussions when needed, and ensure progress.
• Be open to learning new technologies and applying them to improve test coverage and efficiency.
Required Skills & Experience:
• Programming & Automation:
o Solid experience with C# for test automation.
o Practical knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and NUnit.
• Test Management:
o Experience creating and maintaining automated test cases.
o Exposure to sustaining medium-scale test suites (200+ automated tests).
• Mindset & Soft Skills:
o Self-motivated and eager to grow toward mid-level expertise.
o Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to deep dive into issues.
o Good communication skills; proactive in discussions and task ownership.
o Willingness to accept challenges and adapt quickly.
Optional Skills (Advantages):
• Experience with ReportPortal for test reporting and analytics.
• Knowledge of AWS instances for test environments.
• Basic Linux/bash scripting.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms, or containerized environments.
• Basic knowledge of Java for test automation is a plus.
