Job Description:
The Junior business consultant will be trained to provide consulting services for the implementation of E/CTRM systems at the largest companies in the energy and commodities sector worldwide. The ideal candidate will eventually be able to provide professional implementation practices and ability to guide the client in the analysis of their business and the technical adaptation of the respective E/CTRM solution.
The main responsibilities of the business consultant are business requirements gathering from Client and their implementation either through configuration or by translating the business needs to the development team. Project documentation (Functional Specifications, User Guides, Deployment Guides, Trainings and Presentations, etc.) is also an important part of the game.
The candidate should be self-driven, well organized, and capable of performing his/her own tasks in a team as well as fast decision making under pressure and by strict deadlines.
Job Requirements:
We are looking for highly motivated people with a good understanding and possibly with some practical experience in energy or financial trading/modeling. This translates into:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in one of the following areas: Energy, Finance, Controlling, Risk Management, Information Technology or Information Management focused on energy economics (preferably Oil & Gas sector), Business Administration, International Business.
- Working knowledge in English is a must (written and spoken); German (written and spoken) is a bonus; all other languages are plus.
- Knowledge in modeling and evaluating Power, Oil, Gas, Certificates, and/or financial products.
- Risk/portfolio management skills a plus.
- Previous relevant working experience(>1year) is a plus.
- Previous knowledge of any E/CTRM systems is a big plus.
- Knowledge of databases and SQL are nice-to-have.
- Eagerness to learn and the ability to work under pressure.
- Team player.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel (in Switzerland, EU).
