What You’ll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks.
- Write efficient, reliable, and maintainable automated test scripts for UI, API, and backend services using Java-based frameworks.
- Build and enhance test automation frameworks using tools like Selenium or Selenide.
- Support manual testing efforts where necessary, especially for exploratory, usability, or edge-case scenarios.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous feedback and quality checks.
- Partner with developers and manual testers to identify test scenarios and build out automation coverage.
- Review product requirements, technical specifications, and design documents to create effective test plans.
- Perform root cause analysis for failed tests and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
- Mentor junior QA engineers in test automation best practices and framework usage.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience in test automation.
- Strong programming skills in [Java / Python].
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks such as [Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG, PyTest, etc.].
- Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or RestAssured.
- Experience with test reporting tools like Allure.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.
- Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, automation strategy, and processes.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Willingness and ability to contribute to manual QA efforts as needed.
Nice to have:
- Experience with performance, load, or security testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling)
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Exposure to BDD frameworks (Cucumber, SpecFlow)
